Thank you for listening

Conceived by sound artist and producer Richard Sudney, Metal-oxide-malfunction began on January 12, 2010 with the intention of releasing free electronic music. Taking upon himself to release material completely on his own, Richard Sudney (A.K.A. Telegraphy) had achieved ten releases in one year. That’s almost one release per month. Add on mastering, cover art creation, and promotion, you can see that it takes allot of free time to do.

With the ever changing landscape of netlabelism, where audiences float from netlabel too netlabel in-mass, metal-oxide-malfunction just did not see any tangible interest from the netlabel crowd. So it is with great sadness that metal-oxide-malfunction cease operation exactly one year from its start on January 12, 2011.
